All artists working in media specified below.
 
The following fine art and craft media will be considered: Clay, functional and sculptural; Fiber, wearable and decorative; Glass; Leather; Metal; Paper; Basketry; Jewelry; 2D art no larger than 16x20" framed. 2D work may include, but is not limited to, mixed media, painting, drawing, and photography.

Works must be original. Kits, commercially manufactured jewelry, commercial molds, or commercially cast products are not accetapble. Commercial vendors are not elibigle. All work must have been produced within the last two years. The Springfield Art Association reserves the right to not display items that differ from accepted work.

 
Jurying by the SAA staff ane Exhibition Committee will be conducted from submitted images. Three images, ditigal or snapsnots, may be submitted. images may be dropped off, mailed or e-mailed to the Curator. Digital images that are e-mailed should be no more than 1MB in size. Professional images are not necessary for this exhibition. Work submitted for jury should be representational of the pieces which will be included in the exhibition and sale. Photographs and disks will not be returned, except by special request.
 
All artwork must be for sale. The SAA will retain a 30% commission on work sold, and no sales tax will be collected. Artists should price their work accordingly. Artwork will be removed from the exhibition as it is sold. There is a 12 piece maximum per artist. If an artist sells all of their pieces and there is ample exhibition time remaining, the SAA may contact the artist for additional pieces.
 
All artwork is insured while in the possessional of the SAA. Artists are responsible for insurance on inbound and outbound shipping.
 
All artwork must be hand delivered or shipped (at the artist's expense) via private carrier, UPS, FedEx, or USPS. No COD shipments will be accepted. All accepted work must be received by 5pm on Friday, November 5, 2010. Hand deliivered work may arrive during office hours: Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. Accepted artwork must be accompanied by a completed Inventory Form and a $10 fee to cover marketing and packaging costs.
 
The exhibition will be installed by SAA staff. Participating artists are encouraged to bring display aids for their work. For example, jewelers may wish to bring display necks or hands for their pieces. All display items should be clearly marked with the artist's name.
 
The Springfield Art Association reserves the right to photograph and reproduce, in color or black and white, all artwork in this exhibition, regardless of copyright, for educational and/or publicity purposes.

Artists are not required to work the sales table during the exhibition and sale;
however, it would be a great opportunity to
participate and meet your potential clientele! If you would like to volunteer, please contact the SAA Office.
