The Springfield Art Association offers a variety of sponsorship opportunities.
 
 
 

Beaux Arts Ball sponsorships
  • The Beaux Arts Ball celebrates the Springfield Art Association's dedicated volunteers.  In 2009 the Ball
          honors its 78th court.
  • Five sponsorship levels plus one $4,000 corporate sponsor.  All sponsors are recognized in the SAA
          newsletter, The Palette, and on the SAA website
        • $2,500 - ten tickets to the Ball and recognition in the Ball program and on-site event signage
                • $2,100 is tax deductible
        • $1,000 - four tickets to the Ball and recognition in the Ball program and on-site event signage
                • $840 is tax deductible
        • $500 - two tickets to the Ball and recognition in the Ball program and on-site event signage
                • $420 is tax deductible
        • $250 - one ticket to the Ball and recognition in the Ball program and on-site signage
                • $210 is tax deductible
        • $150 - recognition in the Ball program and on-site signage
                • $150 is tax deductible
 
Edwards Place Fine Art Fair sponsorships
  • The Edwards Place Fine Art Fair hosts nearly 100 artists from around the country and 5,000 visitors and art
          lovers each year.
  • Six sponsorship levels.  All sponsors are recognized in the SAA newsletter, The Palette, and on the website
        • Platinum ($1,100+) - recognition (name or logo) on the Fair poster, on on-site signage, in all
              related print ads and on all related radio ads
                • 8 tickets to the Artist Award Dinner
                • The total sponsorship amount is tax deductible.
        • Gold ($1,000) - recognition on on-site signage, in all related print ads and on all related radio ads
                • 6 tickets to the Artist Award Dinner
                • $1,000 is tax deductible.
         • Silver ($500) - recognition on on-site signage
                • 4 tickets to the Artist Award Dinner
                • $500 is tax deductible.
         • Bronze ($250) - recognition on on-site signage
                • 2 tickets to the Artist Award Dinner
                • $250 is tax deductible.
         • Artist Award ($150) - recognition during the Artist Award presentation
                • 1 ticket to the Artist Award Dinner
                • $150 is tax deductible.
         • Artist Dinner ($150) - recognition on the Artist Dinner signage
                • 1 ticket to the Artist Award Dinner

Personalities Paint sponsorships
  • Personalities Paint offers local "personalities" the opportunity to put brush to canvas to benefit the SAA.
 
Film Festival sponsorships
  • The Film Festival, now in its 18th year, brings foreign and independent films and documentaries to the
           Springfield community.
  • Five sponsorship levels.  All sponsors are recognized
        • $500 - one film rental; recognition on on-site signage, in The Palette, and on the website
                • $500 is tax deductible
        • $400- one radio ad; recognition on on-site signage, in The Palette, and on the website
                • $400 is tax deductible
        • $300 - one theater rental; recognition on on-site signage, in The Palette, and on the website
                • $300 is tax deductible
        • $200 - one small newspaper ad; recognition on on-site signage, in The Palette, and on the website
                • $200 is tax deductible
        • $100 - one poster printing; recognition on on-site signage, in The Palette, and on the website

Book fund
With the help of a Book Selection Committee, the Michael Victor II Art Library regularly adds to its collection of more than 3,500 art books.  Donors can contribute to the general book fund or you can donate a specific art book.  For more information, please contact Library Director Jan Dungey at (217) 523-2631 or mvlibrary@springfieldart.org.
 
Brown Bag Lecture Series
The Library hosts a number of art lectures each year through its Brown Bag Lecture Series.  These presentations occure Fridays at noon and feature local artists, professors and other art professionals discussing topics of their choosing.  Sponsorships are $50 each and are fully tax deductible.  For more information, please contact the office at (217) 523-2631 or office@springfieldart.org.

 

School of Art scholarships (children and adults) 
The School of Art offers a variety of classes four sessions each year.  Scholarships are available to adults and children based on artistic merit or financial need.  For more information, to apply or to donate to the scholarship fund, please contact Education Coordinator Sharon Havey at (217) 523-2631 or education@springfieldart.org

Summer Art Camp scholarships

Art Outreach portfolio fund
The SAA makes nearly 70 art portfolios on a variety of topics available to local schools.  Each portfolio features a lesson, an activity and a review of art fundamentals.  Volunteer docents present these portfolios to more than 90,000 central Illinois schoolchildren each year.  Donations to Art Outreach help the SAA maintain, update and expand the portfolio collection.  For more information, to participate or to donate to the Art Outreach program, please contact Education Coordinator Sharon Havey at (217) 523-2631 or education@springfieldart.orgArt Outreach donations are fully tax deductible; donors are recognized in The Palette.
 
School of Art equipment funds
Many classes offered by the SAA use special equipment and supplies.  Ceramics students use pottery wheels and two kinds of kilns and jewelry students use torches, kilns and soddering tools.  This equipment can be expensive and the SAA welcomes contributions to offset the cost of maintenance and upgrades.  For more information or to donate to the equipment fund, please contact Education Coordinator Sharon Havey at (217) 523-2631 or education@springfieldart.orgEquipment fund contributions are fully tax deductible; donors are recognized in The Palette.
