The Springfield Art Association (SAA) invites all Springfield-area home school organizations to visit the SAA every third Thursday of the month for an Art Outreach presentation.  Students are invited to visit the Condell Studio in the SAA’s School of Art, listen to a guided presentation of a selected Art Outreach portfolio and partake in a supplementary craft project that positively reinforces the themes or artist discussed. Advanced registration is required and the fee for each session is $6/person.  Each month's portfolio is listed below; to register, please contact Katie Rasmussen, Education Coordinator at 523-2631, or by e-mail at education@springfieldart.org.

Art Outreach is an art appreciation program featuring more than sixty portfolios that visually expand on a particular artist, theme or movement in art history using prints and artifacts. Portfolios can be checked out to any area educational institution or community group free of charge and include an informational packet, additional resources and reading suggestions, discussion questions, and instructions for a supplementary craft.  Currently in its 36^th year, Art Outreach is utilized by more than 5,000 students per month.
