The Springfield Art Association boasts an outstanding School of Art, with studios and labs throughout our campus, that offers a wide variety of classes during the spring, summer, winter and fall seasons for both youth and adults. Our faculty members are excellent instructors and professional visual artists in the community. Included in the array of classes we offer for the adult student are: ceramics, jewelry making & enameling, drawing and painting, photography and papermaking. Classes are held during the day, on weeknights and on Saturday. Small and seasonal workshops are also featured in our schedules.

Classes for children are offered after school and on Saturdays. Classes primarily feature painting, drawing, and ceramics. Specialty classes such as printmaking, mask-making and instrument making are held weekly or as a one-day workshop.
Summer Art Camp is held during the months of June and July. We offer a number of full and half-day camps for children age 4 to 14. This multi-media camp experience is design to give children a fun-filled, hands on experience with materials they might not find in their schools.
